Hydraulic Shear - Sheet Cutter,, Used primarily for cutting brass, copper and bronze sheet of less than 1/4" thick. It has a variable pressure foot control which allows the operator to apply the optimum number of pounds per square inch for each cut. This helps make each cut as clean as possible. It is also digitaly controlled for shearing within .005 accuracy. The maximum cutting length is 8". Unlike saws, the sheet shear leaves a smooth though slightly indentured edge.
